Arriving at the Studio

When you arrive, everything is ready for you and your little one. White noise will be gently playing in the background and the room will be lovely and warm to help keep your new baby content. We'll have a chat before we get started and briefly talk through a plan for each step of the session.

 

Relax in our cosy room with comfy chairs to oversee your precious little one being photographed. Your precious baby will never be out of your sight - they will be a few feet away from you at all times. You can sit and oversee the whole photoshoot from start to finish. Our studio also benefits from complete privacy for breastfeeding and baby changing.

 

What is the best age to photograph baby?

Although we can photograph your baby at most stages during their first year, a newborn photoshoot is ideally 21 days old and under. The best time to capture your images is around 6-10 days old – this is not only when baby is at their tiniest but also when they are most sleepiest to gently pose for your beautiful gallery. As baby changes and grows past 21 days they can become more alert and aware of their surroundings, therefore tend to be awake more often. If you book your photoshoot for after 21days, we may not achieve as sleepy, curly newborn poses, but rest assured - you will still receive a gallery of timeless, beautiful images to treasure.

 

Does my package include images?

All of our packages include your own online private viewing gallery, professionally edited digital images and luxe ivory mounted prints to enjoy, share and treasure forever.

When do I receive my finished images?

 

Your final images are selected by photographers choice and will be professionally edited after your session. Images will be uploaded into your own private online gallery for you to view within 14 days or less from your session date. Additional products and prints are ordered once images are chosen and production/delivery times advised at time of order.

When should I book?

 

Advance booking is always recommended to ensure your date is available, as we can only accept a limited number of sessions per month. It is worth enquiring to check for last minute availability as we will always try to fit you in as soon as we can. You will be pencilled in our diary for usually around a week after your expected due date, ensuring to leave alternative session spaces free around this time for you just incase baby arrives slightly early – or a little later than expected!

You will then receive our pack via email including all necessary information such as; studio contract, your booking confirmation and a handy prep guide with helpful tips and information for your photoshoot!
